Text Box: 'PARIS AFTER DARK' OPENED THE PARAMOUNT CITY SHOWBAR

In the early nineties, Gerard conceived, staged and

Choreographed the show for the opening of PARAMOUNT CITY

In Piccadilly.

The show, ’PARIS AFTER DARK’ was a very lavish Folies Bergere

Style revue in 14 tableaux in the tradition of the Parisian

Folies with glitter galore, feathers, daring acts and nudity

Gerard then staged what is probably his favourite show outside of the Raymond Revuebar, ’RAZZLE DAZZLE BURLESQUE' at LA VIE EN ROSE Cabaret.

As the title indicates, this was an amazing fantasy   based on the art of stripping in all its styles and forms, from 1940 Burlesque peek-a-boo acts to fetish and bondage acts interspersed with blockbuster tableaux . An all nude show with an exceptionally high production value.

Throughout this period, from 1978, Gerard was the permanent artistic director of THE RAYMOND REVUEBAR and continued to stage the shows until 2004.

At the Raymond Revuebar alone, the curtain raised on his shows approximately 22,000 times and have been seen by three and a half million people.

For the gay audience he created the first male table dancing bar

THE HOUSE OF LORDS

Besides staging female shows he also produced all-male strip shows.  In the nineties THE MALE STRIP SALOON was the most popular ladies night in London.
